Week Two Assignment Link Is Now Active.

The link to the second week's assignments is now active. 

All Assignments for Week Two Due: Sunday, 5 September at Midnight.

Because we've picked up several new class members, the due date for Week One assignments has been extended until Friday, 3 September at Midnight.  This gives you until this Friday, four extra days, to get assignment done for Week One with no penalty for being late. 

Important Date to Mark: The Last Day to Drop Classes with a refund is 8 September.  If you have questions about the class, get in touch.

If you get a chance, poke around outside of your committee and read what your classmates had to say about what it means to be an American.  There are some very remarkable takes on the question.

Updated Contact Information for Your Committee

Greetings,

Getting in touch with your committee just got a tad easier.  Using the information submitted on the Contact and Consent form and the blog addresses you have shared.  I have updated the student contact information found under the General Assembly tab to include links to blogs and telephone numbers, so you can now read the work being posted by your committee members to their blog, and you can call members to ask questions about assignments or just to introduce yourself.  You should also feel free to read the work of early posters of the weekly assignments to get a better idea of how to proceed with your own work for the week.

There are still some students who have yet to share contact information and blog addresses with me, but as they do, I will continue to update the contact information.

For right now, if you get a chance, visit the General Assembly and check to make sure the links to your own contact information are correct and work, and let me know if I need to make any changes.
